Seeking new Board Members

The Foundation’s Board meets monthly and is responsible for the legal, financial and ethical framework within which the Foundation operates.

The functions of the Board include raising funds by actively encouraging and facilitating the tradition of philanthropy, building a capital base, administering funds under management, managing investments and making  grants to support the work of local community groups, now and into the future.

Applications are welcomed to fill current vacancies on the Board from all enthusiastic individuals keen to participate in the next stage of the Foundations journey, in particular but not limited to:

  • Legal services professionals
  • Accounting and financial services practitioners, and 
  • Individuals experienced in Not for Profit or Philanthropy organisations and
  • Individuals who have previous involvement in the community sector
